Meet Dottie! We believe she is a 3-year-old female hound mix with the sweetest soul and a heart full of love. Dottie came to us as a stray, unsure of the world around her, but it didn’t take long for her gentle personality to shine through. She greets everyone with a wagging tail and hopeful eyes. This lovable girl absolutely adores treats Dottie is as sweet as they come — calm, friendly, and always ready to make a new friend. She doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter and enjoys being around people who give her attention and love. Dottie also enjoys spending time outside, taking in the fresh air, and exploring her surroundings. Dottie is also working on her leash training and continues to make progress every day. Now, Dottie is ready for her forever home where she can trade in her stray days for cozy naps, belly rubs, and plenty of treats. Dottie did great for her exam where she weighs in at 55.6 lbs. where she was given Bordatella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and is heartworm negative.
