Say hello to Blackie! Blackie is a beautiful 6-month-old female Lab mix who came to us as an owner surrender. She’s now on the lookout for a loving forever home where she can grow, thrive, and be part of a family. Her previous owners shared that Blackie is good with other dogs, although she may chase after cats. She has only lived outdoors but she is still young that she could easily learn the ropes of indoor life. Blackie doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Blackie is currently working on her leash skills and making steady progress. She’s a shy girl at first and will need a little time and patience to feel comfortable in new surroundings. She has received the Bordetella and parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, been dewormed, and microchipped. Our adoptions are $100 cash/local check only.
