Meet Sheba!
We believe Sheba is a 3-year-old Hound mix who is looking for a very special person to show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. Sheba is a shy and fearful girl who needs time, patience, and lots of love to come out of her shell. She may not be the dog who runs right up to greet you, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want love she just needs someone willing to move at her pace and give her the time she needs to feel safe. Her ideal home would be calm, patient, and understanding, with someone who won’t expect too much from her too quickly. With Sheba, the little victories will mean everything—taking a treat from you, coming a little closer, giving a tail wag, or finally realizing she is safe. If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and are willing to give Sheba the patience, love, and chance she deserves, you could be the person who changes her whole world. Come meet Sheba and give this sweet girl a chance. Sometimes the dogs who take the longest to trust are the ones who make the biggest impression on your heart. She did great for her nail trim and exam where she weighs in at 37.2 lbs. where she was given Bordatella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and is heartworm negative.
