Meet this handsome boy, Damu! Damu came to us as an owner surrender through absolutely no fault of his own. His previous owner’s work life changed and now requires frequent travel, and he felt he could no longer give Damu the life and attention he deserves. Damu is a 2-year, 7-month-old Siberian Husky mix with a fun-loving personality and so much to offer his future family! His previous owner told us that Damu is good with children of all ages, cats, and other dogs. He is also housebroken and crate trained! One special thing to know about Damu is that he is deaf, but he certainly doesn’t let that stop him! Damu doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter, and he is currently working on his leash manners. He’s making great progress every day! Damu is a handsome, playful, fun-loving guy who is ready to find a family that will love him just as much as he’ll love them. Damu did great for his exam where he weighs in at 38.5 lbs and was given Bordatella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and is heartworm negative.
