Say Hello to Millie, a sweet, energetic girl who is ready to find her forever home! Millie came to us as an owner surrender, and we have been told that she is a 1-year-old female Golden Retriever mix. Her previous owner told us that Millie does well with older children but is not a fan of cats. Millie is an energetic, adventurous girl who loves to explore! Because of her adventurous nature, her future family will need to be committed to keeping her safely secured and providing her with plenty of exercise, playtime, and enrichment. A securely fenced yard would be a great fit for this active girl! Millie has already shown us just how smart she is! She knows how to sit and absolutely loves treats! She doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter and is currently working on her leash manners, making great progress every day. Millie is looking for an active family who can keep up with her adventurous spirit and help her continue learning. With plenty of exercise, patience, and love, this sweet girl has so much potential to become a wonderful companion. Millie did great for her nail trim and exam where she weighs in at 54.5 lbs. where she was given Bordatella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and is heartworm negative.
