Give a warm welcome to Nikia, a beautiful girl who is ready for a fresh start and a loving forever home! Nikia came to us as an owner surrender through absolutely no fault of her own. Her previous owner fell on hard times and made the difficult decision to surrender her because he felt he could no longer give Nikia the life she deserved. We have been told that Nikia is a 6-year-old female Husky mix. According to her previous owner, Nikia is good with kids and other dogs and is also housebroken and crate trained. Nikia is not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home would be best for her. Nikia has already shown us what a smart girl she is! She knows the command sit and absolutely loves treats, which should come in handy as she continues learning! She doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter and is currently working on her leash manners, making great progress every day. Nikia is ready to leave shelter life behind and find a family to call her own. Nikia did great for her exam where she weighs in at 53 lbs. where she was given Bordatella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and is heartworm negative.
